Ill, ill, ill...

Working, recording and preparing for release had the negative side effect that I'm now ill. But the web looks alright. And the video too (thanks to jpg-manja and jakmik :-)):

B/E/A/T/B/O/X

Finally bought the Class Candy album "B/E/A/T/B/O/X". And it's very, very, very cool! Nice video too:



Apart from that just work, work, work and band stuff. And reading a rather marvellous novel called "The Yiddish Policemen's Union" (highly recommendable!).

I very much like this new Scottish band called I Like Where I Live. Sentimental indietronica with very nice programming and pretty darn cool melodies. Two demos on Myspace!

And the concert with Irene was very nice, indeed (sadly not much of an audience, though). But the songs were great, and the band included the two coolest backing singers I've seen in a long time. And an old video:



And the recording went well, too :-).

Oh, and Klaus&Kinski has uploaded a "new" song on Myspace (it's called "En la cama" and it's one of my favourites from their demo from last year).

Off to the studio again tomorrow and Saturday. And if I can make it, I'll be going to the Irene concert on Saturday as well! And very neat video by minuscule hey:

Oh yes, yes, yes: Liverpool FC in the semi finals!

And last Friday I took my son to his first rock (mini-) concert, as we saw Virak play a few songs at their release party (they released their debut album "Threads" on Monday the 7th). Go to Myspace and listen to four songs from the album (I very much like "Something strange happened"!).

And cool stuff on Pop Tarts Suck Toasted (and thanks to Hits In The Car for mentioning PTST). Alex and the Horribles on Myspace (they've definitely listened to Pixies and Dinosaur Jr., but check'em out, they're very cool and "Eskimo Girl" is just awesome!).
