Just found this remarkably wonderful Danish band. It's a mix between post-rock, noise pop and melancholic chamber pop. And it's very, very, very cool! Go to Myspace :-).

Highways and such...

Suddenly remembered that I once went to a Toshack Highway concert. It was mostly because Liverpool lost crappy 3-0 to Man. Utd (as Toshack Highway is named after two LFC players), but the song below is cool enough. And easter rawks, damn I do nothing but reading crime novels, eating, sleeping and relaxing.

Finally done in the studio! But the songs ended up being rather cool (I would say that, wouldn't I :-)) and ever so slightly different from what we did last year too. So today I've just been relaxing and doing nothing but listening to music and reading two novels. And checking out the very cool winners of Said the Gramophone's Wonderful Video Contest! And listening to the radio as Brøndby beat FC Midtjylland, yay! And now, a glass of wine, please, and then off to bed, as tomorrow I think there'll be much rejoicing and a few pints of lager.

Berlin, Berlin, Berlin...

That was fun! In a million ways. Got there, went for kebabs, then to a bar, then to another bar (in a slightly weird place where you entered through a hole in the wall!?), and then to Lido, where we danced, danced, danced. The next day included kebabs (and curry wurst!) and bars as well, but this time we ended back at our own place, where they had a huge party. Punks all over, and bizarro DJs who played Dead Kennedys, pop, bad, bad, bad heavy and leftist rap (while the DJ upstairs played cooler German rap on the worst speakers I've ever heard, but she was kinda cute, so it was alright :-)). So we danced, danced, danced, and on Sunday we went home after a very long drive with a very old taxi driver who smelt like he had died already. And them links to da hip hop (Kon-Phooz) and da rap (Offthechain).

Holy moly...

Leon J. Dufficy / Winter Drones. It's rather noisy and VERY cool! And I'm off to Berlin tomorrow, yay! And what better way of celebrating than listening to the new song from The Notwist. And it's a good one, too :-):

Malmö...

Went to Malmö last night with Mikkel and jpg-manja to see Yeasayer and mixtapes & cellmates. And it was absolutely wonderful, both bands were extremely cool, and jpg-manja and yours truly ended up dancing like whatever to some dj, going to a really bad house-music-from-hell-place and a nice afterparty where we fell asleep at 7 o'clock this morning. And we got this single for free too :-):
